HOW TO GET TO ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK

By Road:
The first and most common way is by road. You can access the park easily from Nyeri and NaruMoru on the Eastern side, about 150 km from Nairobi. The road to the park is tarmacked, making it easy to navigate.
The route crosses the park through the lower slopes and up to the Moorlands, which connects with another road from Naivasha on the western side. Naivasha is about 87 km from Nairobi. The park headquarters is 15 km from Nyeri town, along the Nyeri-Nyahururu road. This road is well-maintained, making it easy to drive on.
By Air:
The second way to get to Aberdares National Park is by air. The nearest airstrip is the Mweiga Airstrip, located on the opposite side of the park headquarters along the Nyeri-Nyahururu road near Sasini Estate Farm. The airport is small and can only accommodate small planes. However, it's a convenient option if you're short on time or prefer to travel by air.
